Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and rub olive oil on both sides of the chicken.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Massage the seasoning into the meat.
- Place the chicken breasts into the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Brush BBQ sauce generously over the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize.
- Check the internal temperature to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving. If necessary, cook for a few more minutes.
Notes
- For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer to check the chicken’s internal temperature to avoid overcooking.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to retain its juices.
- Feel free to use chicken thighs for a juicier result.
