Description
These crispy air fryer zucchini chips are a quick, healthy, and beginner-friendly snack, perfect for guilt-free crunch in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into 1/8 inch rounds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, or grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Wash and dry the zucchinis, then slice them into 1/8 inch thick rounds using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- Pat the slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, toss zucchini slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (162°C).
- Place zucchini slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Air fry for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Begin checking at the 8-minute mark and remove any slices that are already crisping or browning.
- Let the chips cool slightly before serving to allow them to crisp up further.
Notes
- Use a mandoline for even, thin slices to ensure uniform crisping.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to avoid soggy chips.
- Season lightly—zucchini shrinks during cooking, intensifying flavors.
- Let chips cool after air frying; this helps them become crispier.
- If chips become soft after storing, reheat in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes to re-crisp.
