Description

This creamy Avocado Feta Dip combines the richness of ripe avocado with the tang of feta cheese, fresh vegetables, and herbs. It’s a delicious, easy-to-make appetizer perfect for parties, gatherings, or just a healthy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut and scoop the avocado into a large mixing bowl. Mash until smooth, leaving it a bit chunky for texture.
  2. Crumble the feta cheese and add it to the mashed avocado. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, red onion, and fresh herbs (cilantro or parsley).
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and squeeze in the fresh lemon juice. Stir well.
  5. Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix until evenly combined.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra herbs or feta, if desired. Serve with chips, crackers, or fresh veggie sticks.

Notes

  • If preparing ahead, cover the dip tightly with plastic wrap to prevent browning.
  • For extra flavor, add chopped jalapeños or chili flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute feta with a vegan cheese alternative.
