Description

Banana Split Cake is a creamy no-bake dessert layered with graham crackers, bananas, vanilla pudding filling, pineapple, strawberries, and chocolate syrup for a nostalgic banana split-inspired treat perfect for parties, potlucks, and summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 graham cracker sheets
  • 8 oz frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 medium bananas, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts (optional)
  • 6 maraschino cherries (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed whipped topping, sour cream, and instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold the drained crushed pineapple gently into the mixture until evenly combined.
  3. Slice the bananas just before assembling to maintain freshness.
  4. Arrange a layer of graham crackers in the bottom of a serving dish or on a flat serving tray.
  5. Spread a layer of the creamy pudding mixture evenly over the graham crackers.
  6. Add a layer of sliced bananas across the cream mixture.
  7. Repeat the layers of graham crackers, pudding mixture, and banana slices until all ingredients are used, ending with a creamy layer on top.
  8. Cover the Banana Split Cake and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight to soften the graham crackers.
  9. Before serving, drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and garnish with fresh strawberries, extra banana slices, chopped nuts, and maraschino cherries if desired.
  10. Slice and serve chilled.
