Description

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are a quick, healthy, and flavorful alternative to traditional wings—perfect for beginner cooks and great for game day or casual dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup Buffalo hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Shake off any excess batter.
  4. Spread cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. In a separate bowl, stir together melted butter and buffalo sauce.
  6. Remove cauliflower from oven, toss with the buffalo sauce mixture, then return to the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for an additional 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and browned.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper or a wire rack to help prevent sticking and improve crispiness.
  • To make it vegan, substitute butter with melted coconut oil or a plant-based alternative.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven or air fryer for best texture.
  • Adjust spice level by choosing a milder buffalo sauce or mixing in yogurt or honey.
