Description

These Christmas bars are the perfect holiday treat. With a rich combination of chocolate, marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs, they come together in under an hour, offering a delicious and customizable dessert that’s perfect for any festive occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Mix well.
  3. Pour in melted butter and sweetened condensed milk, stirring until the mixture is thick and sticky.
  4. Fold in mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts (if using), ensuring everything is evenly distributed.
  5. Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Use a spatula to smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is firm.
  7. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting them into squares.

Notes

  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting to avoid crumbling.
  • If you want a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham crackers or almond flour.
  • These bars can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Feel free to customize the mix-ins with dried fruit or different types of chocolate.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut oil for butter and use dairy-free sweetened condensed milk.
