Description

Cookies and Cream Ice Cream is a delicious and creamy treat that combines the richness of vanilla ice cream with the crunch of Oreo cookies. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for any occasion, and it’s made without eggs or sweetened condensed milk for a simple, fuss-free dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 2/3 cup Organic cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 15 Oreo cookies (crushed)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, sugar, and salt. Whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, mixing gently with a spatula. No need to whisk further.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours to chill.
  4. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. After about 20 minutes of churning, add the crushed Oreo cookies and continue churning for another 5 minutes.
  6. If you prefer soft-serve consistency, enjoy immediately. For firmer ice cream, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 5-6 hours.

Notes

  • If using a compressor ice cream maker, pre-chill the bowl for 5-10 minutes for faster churning.
  • Crush the Oreos into chunks using a food processor for even distribution.
