Description

This Drumstick Pie Recipe is a no-bake dessert that combines the flavors of a classic Drumstick ice cream cone. With a crunchy sugar cone crust, creamy vanilla ice cream, smooth caramel sauce, and a drizzle of chocolate, it’s a delicious treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 ounces sugar cones (about 12 cones)
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ cup Smucker’s Magic Shell chocolate (divided)
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Crush the sugar cones using a food processor or rolling pin until they become coarse crumbs. Add melted butter and pulse until combined.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan. Freeze for 10-15 minutes to set.
  3. Drizzle half of the Smucker’s Magic Shell chocolate over the crust. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  4. Soften the vanilla ice cream and spread half of it on top of the hardened chocolate. Freeze for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Pour caramel sauce over the vanilla ice cream, spreading it to the edges. Freeze for another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Spread the second half of the vanilla ice cream over the caramel layer. Freeze for at least 30 minutes to set.
  7. Top the ice cream with the remaining Magic Shell chocolate. Quickly sprinkle chopped peanuts on top before the chocolate hardens. Freeze for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

  • If you don’t have a food processor, crush the sugar cones in a large Ziploc bag using a rolling pin.
  • If you don’t have a springform pan, a 9-inch pie plate can be used.
  • For a sweeter crust, you can add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar to the crushed sugar cones.
  • This recipe can be made ahead and stored in the freezer for up to a week.
