Description

These Hot Italian Sub Sliders are a beginner-friendly, flavorful sheet pan dinner loaded with deli meats, cheese, and peppers—perfect for parties or quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12-pack soft dinner rolls (e.g., Hawaiian rolls)
  • 6 oz deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz salami, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 9 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/3 cup sliced hot cherry peppers
  • 1/3 cup sliced peperoncini
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the connected dinner rolls horizontally and place the bottom half on the baking sheet.
  3. Layer ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese evenly over the rolls, followed by the sliced hot cherry peppers and peperoncini.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls back on and gently press down to help hold the layers.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, crushed garlic, and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
  6. Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes if you prefer a crispier top.
  8. Slice and serve warm, optionally with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper to avoid burnt bottoms and make cleanup easier.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven instead of the microwave for crispier results.
  • To reduce heat, swap spicy peppers with roasted red peppers or mild banana peppers.
  • Feel free to substitute meats and cheeses based on your preferences or dietary needs.
