This easy keto sourdough bread recipe is perfect for beginners, offering a low-carb, delicious alternative to traditional bread with simple ingredients and quick preparation.


Ingredients

  • Almond Flour
  • Psyllium Husk Powder
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Eggs
  • Warm Water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and apple cider vinegar. Then add the warm water and stir again.
  4. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring to form a thick dough. If it feels dry, add more water, one tablespoon at a time.
  5. Transfer the dough into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • If the bread feels too dense, add more psyllium husk for better texture.
  • Make sure the bread is fully cooled before slicing to prevent crumbling.
  • If you don’t have psyllium husk, ground flaxseed can be used as a substitute, though it may alter the texture slightly.
