  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the pie crust and let it cool if using a homemade version.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, and water. Stir over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
  3. Add the lemon juice and zest to the thickened mixture. Stir and bring it to a simmer.
