Description
Oatmeal Breakfast Brownies are a healthy, fiber-packed breakfast treat that satisfies your sweet cravings. Made with simple ingredients like oat flour, bananas, and cocoa powder, these brownies are quick to prepare and offer a chocolatey breakfast option that’s both nutritious and delicious.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups oat flour
- 4 blended bananas
- ¼ cup + 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- ½ cup almond milk
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional, sugar-free can be used)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a brownie pan with oil spray or baking paper.
- In a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. You can also blend the bananas first and mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared brownie tin, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the brownies are firm and cooked through. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick—it should come out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice into 16 squares and serve.
Notes
- Ensure not to overmix the batter to avoid dense brownies.
- Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the brownies.
- Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
