Description

Peppermint Swirl Fudge is the ultimate holiday treat that combines rich chocolate layers with a refreshing peppermint twist. This no-bake dessert is easy to make and looks stunning with its festive marbled effect, making it perfect for holiday gifting, parties, or just as a special family treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 oz (1 can) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 3 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • ½ cup Crushed Peppermint Candies or Candy Canes
  • Red Food Coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with half of the sweetened condensed milk in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Chill for 10 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the remaining condensed milk. Stir in the peppermint extract and add red food coloring if desired, folding gently for a swirl effect.
  5. Pour the peppermint mixture over the chocolate layer. Use a knife to swirl the two layers together if you want a marbled effect.
  6. Top with crushed peppermint candies, pressing them lightly into the fudge.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set the fudge.
  8. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper and slice into small squares.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best texture and flavor.
  • For dairy-free options, substitute the sweetened condensed milk with coconut condensed milk.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • If using a microwave, stop heating before the chocolate is fully melted; the residual heat will complete the process.
  • For clean slices, wipe the knife with a hot, damp cloth between cuts.
