Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Puff Pastry rectangular roll
- ½ cup Tomato passata, plain
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ tablespoon Olive Oil, extra virgin
- ⅛ teaspoon dried Oregano (optional)
- 1 Mozzarella ball
- Mini Pepperoni (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a lined baking sheet. Use a Christmas tree-shaped cookie cutter to cut out tree shapes from the puff pastry.
- Prepare the pizza sauce by mixing tomato passata, olive oil, salt, and oregano (optional) in a bowl. Stir well and set aside.
- Spread the pizza sauce on each puff pastry tree shape using a spoon.
- Top each tree with shredded mozzarella cheese and mini pepperoni (optional).
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Thaw the puff pastry properly before using. The best method is to refrigerate overnight. Alternatively, leave it at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- If you don’t have puff pastry, crescent roll dough can be used as an alternative.
- Feel free to add other toppings like veggies or BBQ chicken for a unique twist.
- These pizza bites can be assembled ahead of time and frozen. Add a few extra minutes to the baking time when reheating.
