Description

Snowman Oreo Balls are a fun, no-bake dessert perfect for the holidays. These adorable treats are made with crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese, coated in white chocolate, and decorated to look like cute snowmen. They’re easy to make, family-friendly, and sure to impress your guests at any Christmas gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 18.12 oz Family Size package Oreo Cookies (about 45 cookies)
  • 8 oz block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 10 oz Ghirardelli white melting wafers, divided
  • 12 mini Oreos, pulled apart
  • 24 dark chocolate Rolo candies
  • Holly sprinkle mix
  • Snowman sprinkle mix

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with a hand mixer on high speed until smooth.
  4. Add the Oreo crumbs to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  5. Use a 1.5-inch cookie scoop to portion out equal amounts of the mixture. Roll each portion into smooth balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Refrigerate the Oreo balls for 2 hours to firm up.
  7. While the balls chill, melt about ¼ cup of white candy melts. Use a skewer to dab some melted candy onto an Oreo half, then press an upside-down Rolo candy on top to create a snowman hat. Add sprinkles if desired. Let the hats harden.
  8. Melt the remaining white candy melts in a double boiler or microwave. Once smooth, dip each Oreo ball into the melted candy and place it back on the parchment-lined tray.
  9. Quickly decorate each ball with snowman facial features: two black sugar pearls for eyes, a carrot-shaped sprinkle for the nose, and more black pearls for the smile. Work fast before the coating hardens.
  10. Place the Oreo and Rolo hats on top of each ball. If the coating has already set, dab some melted candy onto the top of the ball to help the hat stick. Hold the hat in place for a few seconds.
  11. Let the snowman Oreo balls set for about 15 minutes, then refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature to achieve a smooth texture.
  • Chill the Oreo balls for at least 20 minutes before dipping to help them hold their shape.
  • Use parchment paper to prevent the balls from sticking after dipping in chocolate.
  • Decorate quickly while the chocolate is still soft to ensure the sprinkles stick properly.
