Description

These Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers are a quick, flavorful, and easy meal. With juicy chicken pieces seasoned with garlic, herbs, and parmesan butter, they’re perfectly cooked in the air fryer for a crispy exterior and tender interior. A perfect choice for weeknight dinners or weekend barbecues.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 6 skewers (metal or bamboo)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or grated
  • 1 Tbsp garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes (skip if using metal skewers).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken pieces with olive oil and garlic and herb seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Thread 7-8 pieces of chicken onto each skewer and place them on a plate.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Arrange the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
  5. Air fry the skewers for 8 minutes.
  6. While the chicken cooks, prepare the garlic butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, garlic and herb seasoning, salt, parsley, and Parmesan in a small bowl.
  7. After 8 minutes, flip the skewers over and brush generously with the garlic butter. Air fry for another 7 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  8. Once cooked, flip the skewers again and brush the other side with garlic butter. Serve hot with extra garlic butter on the side if desired.

  • Ensure the skewers are arranged in a single layer for even cooking.
  • If using chicken breasts, the cooking time may vary, but the internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy kick.
