Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Thaw one sheet of frozen puff pastry by microwaving for 30 seconds on each side, then roll it out on a cutting board.
- Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut the puff pastry into 1-inch strips. You should have 18 strips.
- Arrange the strips on the baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the churros bake, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
- In another small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
- Once the churros are baked, let them cool slightly, then dip each churro into the melted butter and roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place the churros back on the baking sheet and let them dry before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1-2 days.
- For a crispier texture, bake the churros for an additional 2-3 minutes.
