Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (18-20 ounce) box fudgy brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil (optional)
Instructions
- Bake the brownie mix according to the package directions. Allow the brownies to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled brownies and mix with softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Roll the brownie mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes until firm.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, tap off excess, and place back on the baking sheet. Add toppings if desired.
- Refrigerate the truffles for 15 minutes until the chocolate coating is set. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For best results, use fudgy brownie mixes to achieve a moist texture.
- Freeze the truffles before dipping to help them maintain their shape.
- Choose high-quality chocolate for the coating for a richer flavor.
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze for up to 3 months.
