Description

Christmas Oreo Balls are the ultimate no-bake holiday treat—creamy, chocolatey, and festive. Made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and colorful candy melts, these easy truffles are perfect for holiday platters, edible gifts, or party desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo Cookies: provides the chocolatey cookie base
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened): binds and softens the Oreo crumb mixture
  • White Candy Melts: creates the smooth, sweet coating
  • Green Candy Melts: adds festive color for dipping or drizzling
  • Red Candy Melts: adds contrast and holiday flair
  • Holiday Sprinkles: provides decorative texture and color

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or zip-top bag and rolling pin.
  2. In a bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until a dough forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill in the fridge or freezer for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the candy melts in separate bowls according to package instructions.
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted coating, tapping off excess.
  7. Place back on the tray and decorate immediately with sprinkles or drizzle with colored melts.
  8. Allow to set at room temperature or in the fridge until the coating hardens.

Notes

  • For smoother dipping, make sure the Oreo balls are well-chilled.
  • Use forks or skewers for cleaner candy coating.
  • You can freeze the Oreo balls for up to a month before serving.
  • Substitute with flavored Oreos or gluten-free options for variation.
