Description

Crack Breakfast Sliders are sweet Hawaiian rolls filled with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar, topped with savory ranch butter—perfect for an easy, crowd-pleasing morning meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for eggs)
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix
  • 1 (12-oz) package Hawaiian rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add the egg mixture, and scramble until just set. Set aside.
  4. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and cut into smaller pieces.
  5. Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar over the bottom buns. Layer with scrambled eggs, bacon, and the remaining cheddar. Place the top half of the rolls on top.
  7. Combine melted butter and ranch dressing mix in a small bowl and brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese melts and the rolls are golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • To prepare in advance, assemble without the ranch butter and refrigerate. Add butter before baking.
  • For softer rolls, cover with foil while baking.
  • Turkey bacon or plant-based bacon can be used as substitutes.
  • You can use cheese slices instead of shredded cheese if preferred.
  • Sliders can be frozen before baking; thaw and bake as directed.
