Description
Crack Breakfast Sliders are sweet Hawaiian rolls filled with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar, topped with savory ranch butter—perfect for an easy, crowd-pleasing morning meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter (for eggs)
- 1 pound bacon
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix
- 1 (12-oz) package Hawaiian rolls
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add the egg mixture, and scramble until just set. Set aside.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and cut into smaller pieces.
- Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar over the bottom buns. Layer with scrambled eggs, bacon, and the remaining cheddar. Place the top half of the rolls on top.
- Combine melted butter and ranch dressing mix in a small bowl and brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese melts and the rolls are golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- To prepare in advance, assemble without the ranch butter and refrigerate. Add butter before baking.
- For softer rolls, cover with foil while baking.
- Turkey bacon or plant-based bacon can be used as substitutes.
- You can use cheese slices instead of shredded cheese if preferred.
- Sliders can be frozen before baking; thaw and bake as directed.
