Description

Crack Chicken Biscuits are a creamy, cheesy comfort food made with shredded chicken, crispy bacon, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and cheddar stuffed inside buttery biscuits and baked until golden.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until the ingredients form a creamy and evenly combined filling.
  4. Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the crack chicken mixture into the center of each biscuit.
  6. Fold the biscuit dough around the filling and pinch the seams tightly to seal.
  7. Place each filled biscuit seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet leaving space between them.
  8. Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter for extra flavor and a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken works well for quick preparation and extra flavor.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened so the filling mixes smoothly.
  • Avoid overfilling the biscuits to prevent the filling from leaking during baking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in an oven or air fryer to restore the biscuit’s crispy texture.
  • The biscuits can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
