Description
Crack Chicken Biscuits are a creamy, cheesy comfort food made with shredded chicken, crispy bacon, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and cheddar stuffed inside buttery biscuits and baked until golden.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Mix until the ingredients form a creamy and evenly combined filling.
- Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
- Spoon a generous amount of the crack chicken mixture into the center of each biscuit.
- Fold the biscuit dough around the filling and pinch the seams tightly to seal.
- Place each filled biscuit seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet leaving space between them.
- Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter for extra flavor and a golden finish.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken works well for quick preparation and extra flavor.
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened so the filling mixes smoothly.
- Avoid overfilling the biscuits to prevent the filling from leaking during baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in an oven or air fryer to restore the biscuit’s crispy texture.
- The biscuits can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
