Description

Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers are juicy, tender pieces of chicken marinated in a flavorful garlic seasoning, grilled or baked to perfection, and finished with a rich buttery garlic sauce and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. This easy and versatile recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or outdoor gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast or thighs, cut into cubes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into evenly sized cubes to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and lemon juice.
  3. Add the chicken to the marinade and toss well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 20–30 minutes.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Cook the skewers for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. In a small pan, melt butter and add garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  8. Brush the cooked skewers with the garlic butter sauce.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the hot chicken skewers.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness and flavor.
  • Do not overcook to avoid dry chicken.
  • Brush garlic butter multiple times for enhanced flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
