Ingredients
Scale
- 8 frozen chicken tenders
- 8 slider buns
- 8 slices Mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup of Marinara sauce
- 16 green olives stuffed with pimento
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and cook the chicken tenders as directed on their packaging.
- While the chicken is cooking, carve the mozzarella cheese slices into sharp teeth shapes.
- Skewer two green olives (stuffed with pimento) on toothpicks for each slider.
- Warm the marinara sauce over medium heat until simmering.
- Once the chicken tenders are cooked, assemble the sliders by spreading marinara sauce on the bottom bun.
- Place the hot chicken tender on top of the marinara sauce.
- Add more marinara sauce on top of the chicken if desired, then layer with the mozzarella cheese with the “teeth” facing forward.
- Top with the top slider bun and skewer the olive toothpicks into the top bun to create the monster eyes.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your spooky sliders!
Notes
- Prepare the cheese slices and olives ahead of time to save prep time on the day of your event.
- Store any leftover sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
- If you don’t have slider buns, you can substitute with brioche buns or ciabatta rolls.
- For a spicy variation, swap the marinara sauce with buffalo sauce and add jalapeños.
