Description

Halloween Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies are a fun and spooky twist on a classic favorite. These cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with chocolate chips, while hiding a surprise Halloween Oreo in the center. Perfect for Halloween parties, bake sales, or a fun family baking session!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 9 Halloween Oreos
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Cream together the butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients—flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt—mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
  6. Scoop out a large portion of dough (about ¼ cup per cookie) and flatten it in your palm.
  7. Place a Halloween Oreo in the center, fold the dough over it, and roll into a ball.
  8. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown but the center is slightly undercooked.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

  • If the cookies seem too soft when you remove them from the oven, don’t worry! They will firm up as they cool.
  • Chill the cookie dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies.
  • Feel free to swap out the Halloween Oreos for regular Oreos or try different Oreo flavors to switch things up.
  • For best results, use a cookie scoop to ensure even-sized cookies.
