Description
Leftover Stuffing Waffles with Maple Gravy are the ultimate way to reinvent Thanksgiving leftovers into a crispy, savory, and slightly sweet brunch favorite. With a crunchy outside, tender inside, and a drizzle of maple-infused gravy, this creative recipe makes holiday flavors last longer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups leftover stuffing
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons milk (or as needed)
- 1 cup gravy
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the leftover stuffing and egg. If too thick, add milk until the mixture is spreadable but still thick.
- Preheat the waffle maker and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Spread about 1/2 cup of the stuffing mixture onto the waffle iron. Close and cook for 10–14 minutes until both sides are golden and crisp.
- Repeat with the remaining batter until all waffles are cooked.
- Warm the gravy in a small saucepan, stir in maple syrup, and serve over the waffles.
Notes
- Waffles take longer than traditional ones, so don’t rush the cooking time.
- Add extra egg or milk if the batter feels too dry.
- To freeze, cool waffles completely, then store in freezer bags and reheat in an oven or toaster oven.
- For a skillet version, press the mixture into patties and cook until golden brown on both sides.
