Description

Mandarin Orange Fluff Salad is a refreshing, no-bake dessert made with a creamy filling, tangy mandarin oranges, and a crunchy Ritz cracker crust. It’s perfect for any occasion, from family gatherings to holidays, and is incredibly easy to prepare with minimal ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 60 Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 oz. orange juice concentrate, thawed but still icy
  • 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 28 oz. mandarin oranges, drained and divided

Instructions

  1. Mix melted butter, crushed crackers, and sugar in a bowl until combined.
  2. Press the cracker mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch glass dish, reserving 1/4 cup of the mixture for the topping. Chill the crust in the fridge.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the orange juice concentrate and sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  5. Gently stir in the mandarin oranges, reserving a few segments for topping.
  6. Pour the orange mixture over the chilled cracker crust, spreading evenly.
  7. Chill for 15 minutes to set the filling.
  8. Sprinkle the reserved cracker crumbs on top and add the saved mandarin orange segments for garnish.
  9. Chill for an additional hour before serving. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use a glass or ceramic dish for best results.
  • Ensure the mandarin oranges are well-drained to avoid a watery salad.
  • If you want to make clean slices, dip your knife in cold water and wipe it dry between cuts.
  • This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
