Description
Soft, buttery No Yeast Dinner Rolls Recipe made with six simple pantry ingredients. Ready in just 30 minutes, perfect for beginner cooks and quick meals.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp milk
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp melted butter (for brushing tops)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, sugar, salt, and baking powder until fully incorporated.
- Gradually stir in flour until a dough forms. If dough is sticky, add additional flour one tablespoon at a time until it’s no longer sticky.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and divide into 12–14 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.
- Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until tops are golden brown.
- Immediately brush the tops with melted butter and serve warm.
Notes
- To achieve a darker golden top, brush with an egg wash before baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- To reheat, bake in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes or microwave for 10–15 seconds.
- If using a dairy-free alternative, replace butter and milk with plant-based versions.
