Instructions

- Fill cupcake liners about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
- Prepare frosting by beating butter (and cream cheese if using) until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar gradually, then mix in heavy cream and vanilla extract until fluffy.
- Frost cooled cupcakes and garnish with orange zest if desired.
