Description

Strawberry Kiss Cookies are a fun and delicious treat perfect for Valentine’s Day or any special occasion. These cookies are made using strawberry cake mix and topped with Hershey’s Kisses, creating a sweet and chocolatey experience in every bite. They are easy to make, soft, chewy, and absolutely irresistible.


Ingredients

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • Granulated sugar (for rolling)
  • Hershey Kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix vegetable oil and eggs until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and strawberry cake mix to the wet ingredients. Stir until fully combined.
  4. Add the milk to the dough and mix until it forms a cookie dough.
  5. Scoop dough into balls using a #30 cookie scoop or 2 tablespoons. Roll each ball in granulated sugar.
  6. Cover the bowl with dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Place dough balls on baking sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden. Keep remaining dough chilled while baking.
  8. Immediately after baking, gently press a Hershey Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Chill the dough before baking to prevent the cookies from spreading too much.
  • If you don’t have Hershey Kisses, you can substitute with chocolate hearts, Brach’s chocolate stars, or Dove chocolates.
  • For a different flavor, swap the strawberry cake mix with red velvet, lemon, or chocolate cake mix.
  • Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
