- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 3–4 large leaves of romaine lettuce, chopped
- 12 slices hard salami
- 12 slices deli ham
- 12 slices provolone cheese
- 32–64 slices pepperoni
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese and Italian seasoning until well combined.
- Finely chop the pepperoncini peppers and tomato, then fold them into the cream cheese mixture.
- Lay one tortilla flat and spread one-quarter of the cream cheese mixture evenly over it.
- Scatter chopped romaine lettuce over the cream cheese layer.
- Place three slices of provolone cheese across the center, then add three slices of hard salami and three slices of ham on top.
- Arrange four to eight slices of pepperoni above and below the meat and cheese layers to cover the tortilla.
- Starting from the top edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
- Refrigerate the rolls for at least one hour to firm up.
- Trim the ends and slice each roll into 1-inch sections before serving.
Notes
- Pat vegetables dry before assembling to avoid sogginess.
- Use a serrated knife and gentle sawing motion for clean cuts.
- Large, burrito-size tortillas work best for rolling.
- Chill the rolled tortillas for at least an hour before slicing for best results.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
